Discipleship Classes
Discipleship classes at Northwest are offered through our “Discipleship Training Institute” (DTI). And, the DTI exists for the purpose of offering enriching opportunities for Christians seeking to mature in their faith. This ministry strives to offer a variety of avenues to growth in Christ, from one-day seminars to multi-week courses, from in-depth Bible studies to “book club” style discussion groups.
Topics addressed in this discipleship ministry focus on applying God’s word to Christian living. Accordingly, the DTI offers opportunities for Christians: to grow in Scriptural knowledge, to discover and develop spiritual gifts, to grow as leaders in the church, and to develop skills in sharing their faith. Relevant life issues – such as: parenting, marriage, finances, forgiveness, and overcoming addictions – are all examined through the lens of faith.
The DTI offers the majority of these opportunities on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Saturdays.
Whether you are a new Christian or someone who has followed Christ for many years, the variety of programming offered by the DTI offers opportunities appropriate for all stages of spiritual growth.
